Copywriter, Editor, and Wordsmith Extraordinaire…

My name is Amanda. I have written several professional bios for clients and am now ironically writing one for myself wondering, “How does one actually write a professional bio?”

A little about me…

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations which is a combination of economics and political science which includes an obscene amount of research and writing. This means if you need a 300-word article written about how the secret to youthful and beautiful skin is aloe, vitamin c, and water, I’m your girl. This also means that if you need a 45-page policy brief about Why International Aide is crucial to the interests of American National Security, I will also rock that like nobody’s business. Oddly enough, I don’t get too many requests for the latter.

I have an employment background in Project Management and Operations. The main thing this has taught me is how easy it is to awe people with carefully crafted rhetoric and how quickly you lose credibility when what you write is riddled with errors. Words are powerful and with our ever-changing culture, the mastery and use of the English language is becoming a dying art.

I love to travel, read, and explore the world. Though I am not a professional photographer, I love to take pictures, many of which I have in the Gallery section.

What does this all mean for you? Really this is just a way to convince you that I am competent in my ability to get the job done, whatever it may be.

As a copywriter, I can craft communications, marketing material, copy, and any other projects you need to ensure you and your customers are receiving your message in an engaging manner. I can ensure that my copy is accurate, professional, and beneficial to your business.

I am also a huge Harry Potter nerd. So…. yeah.
